Elizabeth Mobley

Associate Director of Planned Giving, Furman

Elizabeth Mobley is a 2005 graduate of Furman University (BA, Business Administration) and 2009 graduate of The Citadel Graduate College (MBA, Sport Management). After graduate school, she returned to her undergraduate alma mater to join the Athletics Development team, where she gained experience in development marketing and communications, annual giving solicitations, fundraising reporting, and donor relations. In 2018, Elizabeth accepted the position of Associate Director of Planned Giving at Furman. In that role, she is tasked with continuing Furman's efforts to rethink planned giving through creative prospecting, proactive marketing, and mass and individual solicitations. Elizabeth oversees the planned giving marketing plan, collaborates with Development field staff to provide them with marketing materials and resources, provides guidance for gift officers in their planned giving conversations, and serves as a point of contact for planned gift donors and prospects. In addition to her fundraising work, Elizabeth serves as an academic advisor to first- and second-year students. When she is not working, she can usually be found at Furman athletics events or enjoying Furman's beautiful campus with her dog Moose.
